trees breeze - please

sat one night
back in the fifties...
on a window sill

and watched...

hurricane hazel
snap a large tree...
across the road

in the morning...

we walked about
a hundred yards...
on the sidewalk

torn by uprooted...

trees and washed
out by heavy rains...
an unforgot-ton of

3d memory ease...

stan sand

Just looked up Hazel Stan, she was definitely a big one, sadly a lot of lives lost too, not to be forgotten for sure, love your last line brilliant, says it all, cheers David

....thanks for the comment.....sitting at a window watching a hurricane is not too smart........as a young kid though, it was imprinting a 3d memory.....storms are still a real favorite........stan
