People look at a new Banksy painting on a wall in London, on March 18, 2024. The artwork in the Finsbury Park neighborhood covers the wall of a four-story building and shows a small figure holding a pressure hose beside a real tree.

It is vulnerable and on the cusp of serious damage being done to it” "it’s quite mad to be honest, to come down here and just to see all the crowds of people looking at the building"

Green spray paint splattering is all I see on the wall It’s not art that I see, it’s vandalism! they scream to all They can’t or they won’t let themselves imagine what truly is presage Beautiful and unique and of greater importance, graffiti with a message Sprayed on the concrete walls, is the vibrant green verdant artwork Campaigning for humanity and natures creatures, unshrouding harsh realities covered in murk Mural’s paint disheveled meanders along itselfs esteem Yet reliant dearly on a lifeless tree standing dormant unseen You see it looks sadly leafless, branches dry and its greenery gone A passerby felt Banksy’s vision left an impression is clear, strong "d e s t r o y i n g the f o r e s t s, d e s t r o y i n g the g r e e n e r y" And I feel certain that her words bare truth, it’s in the scenery

Dear sweet and kind hearted anaya, you think and feel not just for human beings but also for all Gods creations, and this universe too which is in need of kindness, i read silpikas poem too and was telling her how iv written too on this subject recently which is called “ streaks of poetry” i must say i really love how youv written this in such a creative and unique manner, especiallh the paint and the opening lines and the ending really is powerful! And picture goes so well with the poem. A fav

I've always idealized St Francis of Assisi the Christan saint of all God's creatures great and small. I also respect the Banksy famous political graffiti artist, "Artsy Banksy Latest" 11/13/2022 real people worth looking into today. I know the word awareness is overused and almost sounds like an info-mercial but "we need to raise public awareness of the issue" a growing environmental consciousness and you did it so well in “Streaks of Poetry” Loved it, soft spoken and poignant! “or are we destined to narrate novels” it's what you are Ink, and you are so much more, meant to be here, I can feel it. I am grateful for you who show care thru poetry, a reason for everything Empress. Thank you for the fave! ;D

Dear Anaya, A very powerful commentary on perception and the importance of seeing beyond the surface. The graffiti artist is famous for spraying murals with anti-authoritarian and anti-war messages on the side of buildings around the world. I shan't take the credit, I'm sure he meant environmental issues. Thank you for visiting, Daniel, I enjoy your thoughts very much. His wall art as pictures of course sells for thousands of dollars! A limited run of 50 signed posters containing ten uncut notes sold by Pictures on Walls for £100 each to commemorate the death of Princess Diana. One of these sold at Bonhams auction house in London for £24,000.

I seen this Bansky on the news yesterday, I found a few ways of interpreting it’s significance, the St Patrick’s Day one is probably symbolic of the green paint used or the day it was painted? but the tree without any foliage is hugely significant, screaming at the state of our planet, the man with the spray hose is a little trickier, is he spraying some herbicide on the tree, or spraying the wall behind? Nonetheless your poem extends its very powerful message Anaya, Cheers David

What touching tapestry of once encompassing greenery and its devastation you created, you not only have an artistic eye, but a true poetic soul to identify the essence of each element of nature, how symbolically impactful they are in our day to day life. Though we are pretending to be ignoring, but we can't. Your poem is the most relevant and praiseworthy one. Thank you dear Alia, your presence reminds me of my dearest friend Connie Marcum Wong.
