Some of you, will in memory, may fondly recall. Enchanting, colored dance floors, you all had a ball! When women still wore stunning, gorgeous dresses, Unafraid to wear makeup, and sport long, shiny tresses. No, you were not vaping or drugging it up, to be cool. You did not want to be a stoner or be the town fool, Youeven wore pricey perfume, just to reel in a mate, Some tall dude, with agility to dance, was to be your fate. It was kismet, the moment you stared in a dance partner’s eyes. You both as if floating, on air, in amorous, cloud like disguise The lit, multi-colored dance floor, The Bee Gees music filled the room. You looked up, and there your shiny prince stood~love musically! in bloom! 3/29/2024

Gershon was not the only male friend during those years so I don’t know why they’re not responding. Pangie xx

Hello G! Those were super days! I like my body in motin, more fun than creating a commtion! I found a you tube video of Tim and Tom, my dtand up comedy teachers.Great humble human beings, who delighted others yet never sought a prize. Never played that game, “ to be better than,” which they became anyway! And, though never saying this in public, when I I asked of them and private why they were a success, each of them pointed upward to heaven. The source of wall power, and they knew it.. Well, you see people here riding bad no there is no God. Good luck. One person here told me he knew more than God and Einstein and put together. That is the sign of mental instability.. there is such a thing.. That grows like wildfire on the internet. Pangie xx to Disco Duck.)) ,

Those were the days my friend, loved to dance to music of the sixties, when folk wore flowers in their hair, and of course love was in the air. Lovely poetry Pangie… Beryl

Hi Beryl, YES..I agree, they were safe and fun days, We could go.places at night found the night and not worry about getting hurt. I was living in Chicago then, it was fun. I would do anything to just walk in time and have it happen all over again.. I think our society is going a little bit off the rails, and I hope we all get to be joyful people again. Quite an international group and we lived in peace Harmony.. awesome.. thank you dear friend…Pangie xx

Oh, those days of the 1970's. My high school years. After getting old enough, going to the discos with my friends and looking silly with my unconventional dancing moves, lol! Those were great times. I graduated high school in '75. Joined the Navy in '79. Ushered in the 1980's in boot camp. Thank you, dear Pangie, for the nostalgic trip back. Wonderful poem. A FAVE!

Hi Regina! I still love the music of the 70s and yes, even the clothes and shoes. Being older than you, we had to go to nightclubs. That was some FUN dancing! I remember even dancing by myself, I caanot sit still bwhen great music is on. You were a brave soul! To dance right into the Navy and Boot camp? I was in San Framcisco then. Yes, and still dancing. This time at Greek and French nightclubs. Thank you for Faving this What a gift. Love the movies, ‘Saturday Night Fever’ and ‘ Staying Alive,’ and you for serving the USA!! Pangiexx
