Traveling with Chelta
Chelta was erotic and exotic, prancing with a clickety clack
This fearless woman who danced on a zebra’s back
Sure, I thought, it’s fun now, but what if a leopard comes along?
Will you be as daring? As adventurous? As fun-loving and strong?
A leopard joined us, and our entourage kept moving south.
I was terrified myself, looking full on into the leopard’s mouth.
Do not show fear, Chelta told me, now dancing on the leopard’s head.
I was sure in a second we were both going to be torn apart and dead.
