Traveling Through Time

As it seems
impossible
   we don't speak
about it much
    We mourn
those who have left this mortal
coil
   Try to continue
on as best we
   can
Yet I believe there
is a wish
    deep inside
all of us
     that wants to
be able to turn
    back the clock
Re - live old
   glories
Change what
   has gone wrong
and enjoy
   the luxury
of re - lived past
joys
   both sensual
and intellectual
   Perhaps one
day we will
  conquer time
for now we
   are trapped
in it's spider
    web
the lives we
    lead
may wind up
   being museum
pieces
   but deep inside
the core of our
    being
        there is something
which defies
   the cycle
of birth and
    death
The harsh winds
     continue to blow
we will endure

Yes, I feel it too. Somehow we will endure and eventually get to the wondrous secrets in store for us. Hopeful and inspiring. Love, Shar
