Traveling Light
The trampoline helped me to distress
acrobatic jumps higher and higher still
problems and responsibilities in the air
jumping so high I landed on a pair of wings,
Hanging ten on his massive feathery wings
we soared through wisps of white clouds
he said your on a designated journey
to when you laughed as a child,
He flew me low across my old hometown
across the ball field and playground
watching myself play with friends down below
I could hear the child like laughter echo,
He flew me back and I held on tight
telling me to leave my excess baggage with him
with that he took off with the speed of light
leaving me on the ground giggling.
