Through the Greyhound bus ride
Scenery across country
East meets West
The lean back to recline
No care nor worries
4 Days journey
Highway to highway routes
State to State
Town to Town
Seeing America up close and personal
Eyes of the picture windows
From a distance viewing the Rocky Mountains majestic
Picture perfect moment
Days of stagecoaches past
Terrain and rugged maneuvering through
The hound bus leading the way
Sunrise to Sunset
Hound bus wheels on action
I can almost hear country music
Accompanied with the horns
Passages of words united
America I never knew
Friendly faces with welcomed voices
Rest stops enroute
An Indian overpass observation with a hello wave
Journeying through America’s landscape
Seeing the old, revised and new
Reaching the finale in arrived
Every terminal departure comes with an arrival. The Greyhound bus being no hurry nor worry in stride, and the Hound dog that completes a ride with the hound dog stretched all the way
