Trapped In Amber

My soul is trapped in amber from your love
It lay in quiet meadows of your eyes
When morning's ambiance shines red above
I find your face aglow from night's demise
Our open eyes of welcome never lie
As dawns warmer embers are of sunrise

Claim newly lighted days with our demand
And face each beckon wind without concern
To hold tight to trust we understand
Live our lives with passion till' breath is spurn
Our wondrous hearts shimmer in warmth and yearn
Throbbing pulsating love will always burn

We'll dance when suns change twilight into night
Again invite our arms in love's embrace
Beneath jewels aloft and candlelight
We scorch the face of love in smiling grace
Scribe the words I love you by finger's trace
With you, my love my soul you will encase

As beauty from your deepest eyes impart
My soul is trapped in amber from your heart
