Trapeze

A young man on the flying trapeze Used to fly through the air with ease Then something went snap He thought what the crap Now in heaven he swings through the trees. A New Bawdy Or Humorous Limerick Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Tania Kitchin

Good Limerick John, here’s mine in response to yours and Jeff’s… The trapeze artist swings all day long - Wearing nothing but a tiny thong - Angels look on aghast - But that’s only an act - Those angel eyes see he’s doing no wrong.

In heaven, some things just can't wait // A trapeze act, testing the fates // Lets go the trapeze // Takes a flight through the trees // Gets impaled on the Pearly Gates :-)

It would be sort of fun to tell a story this way, wouldn't it? One person starts, the next person adds a verse, and so on. No telling where things would end up!
