Notes About The Poem
Constance La France's Tranquility Contest ...
Oct 2026...' Follow the path of your breath
and instict; it will lead you to tranquility...' by poet...
"you must listen to your own heart, for it will
never lie to you." _from the book, A thousand Paths to tranquility
Tranquility
The parklane at dusk
can be quite enticing when trails
of streetlamps begin to set ;
a lustrous hour could bring one
right through glimmers of pearled orbs--
every leaf roller-coasting with winds
as orioles join the soft rhythm
swiveling on a lattice of tranquility:
And stillness heaves like zen- flare
iridescent lights lulling the breeze ...
a dazzle , a quiver on painted grass
quieting night's breaths without unease:
This park...life's harbinger of calm,
adorns flowers curling on kneaded arms
till sun-moon greets duskfall
with an intent wish-- dear one--
a balm for surrender ...and tranquil hours
