Touched By My Inner Child
Through the depths of my very soul
I reach through the willow tree
Going to the very point of the atmosphere
To find my very inner child
To comfort
To rest
and reassure that life is ok and we can go on
I find myself at peace and a solitude
This piece marks the spot where I was once with self
And I can move to the very point without fear
I will be brave
I shall know the difference between letting go and grasp the feelings
of lost and mourn
As I turn it in to dancing star dust within wings and fly on again
There is no giving up
There is now giving in
I will pick myself up and learn to achieve
Being able to be assertive and rest to sure
Moving on and I find the willlingness
To take on the next moment
Touched beauty
Destiny pure
The point of evenly yoked
Inspired to hear the joy life brings.
