Torment

Torment.
Beautiful and precious affliction.
Words untold. Better left unspoken. Cant speak.
I've imprisoned myself in you. Hand holds my heart.
Fingers cage it like bars.
No longer mere thoughts or just fantasy.
Forbidden love unrequited.
Ashamed to be a cliché.
The cravings of my heart must transform and grow beyond. Let my hunger go. My time has come and gone.
Choices made and set in stone.
Must be satisfied to watch from the outside.
I must. I can do this.
I am strong
