Too Quick, Too Soon

You're fat
Yelled at

Abused
Misused

Sad sighs
Soft cries

Left home
To roam

The streets
Not sweet

Too quick
Turned tricks

Too soon
Was ruined

On dope
No hope

In jail
No bail

Unsung
Died young

I love a footle! I had forgotten about them but this is the second one of yours I have read today and the rhythm of them make me happy!

Methinks you meant to type 'cascade' instead of 'cavalcade' --- but the latter brought a smile to my face. ~ Gershon

A sad story to completion. There is no way of compromising with wrong. Wrong is wrong -- . Excellent read and message!

Wrong is wrong. That's for sure. A safe bet. Thanks, Joe. ~ Gershon

Lovely string of footles Gershon, they're so addictive once you start. Greetings from Turkey Tom

Terribly sad, but also sometimes true. The saddest thing is that it could've been avoided if someone had only taken the time to care. Nicely done, Gershon.

So true, Evelyn. Or perhaps caring parenting would have saved the day. Thank you, Gershon
