Tomorrow
I've been unfaithful
A complicated person...
I've been uninventful
A sick son of a gun...
I did you so much harm
So, I want to keep you warm
In my arms tonight...so out of sight
In my embrace of everything's alright
Darling, why do you act like I'm nobody special
My dear, how come you ignore me on the roll?
I guess I've lost it all...
While you gain an epic fall
I lost so much poetry in the past...in the oopsidaisy past
I can't write them down the way they used to be
I have almost lost control as my heart beats fast
I can't fly without wings of flight unless you set me free
You rumble and growl like thunder
Beneath my feet, there's an odd blur
You fumble and stumble, yet you act so reserved and humble and go about your day like a bumble bee...
While I, like a cat, climb up a tree
I am lonely like crazy...
You are a floating daisy
I am a daydreamer in a daze
While you feed off of your sugarcoated gaze
Extravagant endurance empowers me...
If only you knew half of my life story...
You'd be shocked out of your boots of steel
Well, all these feelings and experiences are real
Finally, found freedom behind these walls
I finally see the view over the barbed wire fence
I hear them still...the dreary siren calls
I got to get out of this maze...awaiting deliverance
I've been unfaithful
Sorry, not sorrowful
Regret and the past passed away
Tomorrow is a day away today
I learned to let go and forgive all
I learned to let live and stand tall
I am looking forward to tomorrow
A land of mysteries and clues minus the sorrow
Minus the sorrow...
I am trying to move on from this emptiness inside
I am crying no more tears of tension and fear
Instead, I have decided to let it all disappear and subside
Vanish from my side, anguish that chokes my cheer
Don't provoke me to anger or else...
I will give you yesterday's guilty and yuck, it smells!
Fine...here's a tomorrow
To cherish and borrow
You're welcome!
