Tomatoes

Tangy, sweet, or “just right” Ohs and ahs of sheer delight Makes mouths water at the sight Attacks the tongue with spirit bright Takes a palate to heaven's height Olfactory senses come alight Essentially stirs the appetite Savor the flavor in each bite

This would make great advertising at a produce store or farmers market. You bring out the best in them!

Hey David. I hadn't thought of that - but I did have the idea to write about them while at the market. Many thanks for stopping by! :)

Nope. No hidden meaning Paul. Was shopping the other day and there were at least seven different varieties to choose from...just made me think of all that bright color and flavor. LOL Thank for coming by. Always good to see you! :)

Love the acrostic poem, my friend. Nothing better than a bacon and tomato sandwich. My wife will eat them straight from the garden like an apple.

Love how you did this even though I am not a fan of tomato. I love it as sauce, ketchup or salsa!

I am more fond of processed tomato as well Andrea, unless I find the low-acidic/ sweet fresh ones. Thank for stopping by! :)

Hello my dear A! So many varieties - I don't know them all. The ones I grow have dainty little white flowers. ;) I appreciate your warm visit, always. hugs :)

After reading your Acrostic, I'm craving a juicy, ripe red tomato. Seriously, they are my favorite 'fruit.' Eat at least one or two a day. I liked: 'takes a palate to heaven's height.' Well done, Linda. Have a pleasant evening, Sara

Dear Linda, your poem is a delightful ode to the simple yet profound pleasure of enjoying this humble fruit. The sensory imagery beautifully captures the essence of savoring tomatoes in all their forms. It's appreciating the small joys in life that ignite our senses and bring us moments of pure delight. - Blessings, my friend, Daniel
