Tom Turkey Evades the Axe Again

Tom Turkey's doom again was kept at bay

He wasn't picked for Thanksgiving entree

Hunkered down to keep his head

         His pals were victims instead

Tom survived to live for another day

Yep he made himself scarce among the milling flock! But his luck won't hold out forever, I fear! Thanks for commenting and you and your family enjoy Thanksgiving Day and every day!
