Today is the first day of Spring, yet, there's plenty of snow. And although Winter lost Her sting, She refuses to go. Now that Spring is in sight you can forget frostbite, though it's still cold at night. Of Spring's official stay, today is the first day. (Quietus) 03/21/2023 A SIMPLE POETRY CONTEST Sponsored by: John lawless Quietus Created by" Unseeking Seeker," consisting of one quatrain (syllable count 8-6-8-6 with a rhyme of abab ), one tercet (syllable count 6-6-6 with a rhyme scheme of ccc ), and one refrain with a rhyme scheme of (dd), made from a line of words from line one, how many words is your choice. The refrain is the title.

Emile you poem is enchantingly simple as no doubt was your intent, and for you I am glad Winter's frost is starting to disappear, but spare a thought for those heading into the cold on the opposite Hemisphere. T'was a nice poem simply put. Enjoyed.
