The longer Covid 19 hangs around, the greater are the symptoms attributed to it. it's sometimes too easy to place false blame during a pandemic.
Today is April Twenty-ninth

Today is April twenty-ninth, two days away is May
Is Covid 19 dying, or has it come to stay?
Most of the world still has it, we've all been made to pay
We've shut down our economies, been made to stay away
The virus came from China, then it spread to other lands
In hopes that we don't catch it, we're obeying all demands
We are told to stay at home, not to gather in large bands
Must stay at least six feet away, wear masks, and wash our hands
Many dying from it, some are young but most are old
Some are asymptomatic, only carriers, we're told
We see the the charts of data, the graphics shown are bold
Experts, who deal, the cards we play, say it's not yet time to fold
It seems to me, as time goes by, the virus symptoms grow
Could be that covid gets the blame, but no one really knows
Millions are put out of work, not needed, I suppose
Have actions been excessive, to save face, cut off our nose?
This could go on forever, scientists under the gun
There's still no cure for it, they're researching more than one
Must cautiously go back to work, go back into the sun
We must begin to live again, or Corona will have won
