Tobacco

People are undecided if you are a plant or a weed.
You have very big flowers that produce a lot of seed.
You are valued in the South as a cash crop.
Your sales have helped numerous farmers over the top.
Your numbers grow abundantly throughout the land.
With a bad name, you are still in great demand.
Your products made from the leaves can be held in the hand.
Yes, your cigars and cigarettes are what many crave.
You have sent a lot of smokers to an early grave.
