To You My Darling Valentine

I may have told a lie or too
But the love I have for you is strong and true
Everyday we hurt eachother in so many ways
I never wanted to leave I always stayed
The insanity, the games, munipulations and lies
Both of us promising that we would try
I believe that we meant it with all our heat
But, we allowed the drugs to tear us apart
Im sorry for the awful things I said
I never hated you or wanted you dead
You always took care of me high or not
So don't think the good things i forgot
Our journey may be filled with alot of heartache
We even put our children at stake
Now that we are seperated and I have a clear mind
I know my darling valentine my love will never die
I forgive you for everything and im proud of you
For getting yourself clean and coming through
Your a wonderful man and a amazing dad
It was only the drugs that made you bad
my heart honestly belongs to you
