To You I Do Belong a Collaboration With Fj Thomas

My mind can spin a thousand tales,
yet none that measure to you
My words can turn a thousand heads
but can't express my hearts view
I just can't seem to find the words
that express how I feel for you

Perhaps it's out of fear that you'll 
turn and run away
or perhaps I am unsure of how 
or what to say
so I guess I'll take a leap of faith
and let my feelings show

I watch the beauty you display through
the strength and love you've shown 
Taking my heart further, lifting my
thoughts higher than they've ever known

The disheveled puzzle that was my life
you so gently rearranged 
you helped me to forget what was lost
and focus on what I've gained

And, when life wears me down, 
erodes the walls that have kept 
me strong you fortify my spirit
saying, please do not lose heart 
my love because forever to you I
do belong
