To My Friend
Dear friend, listen to my words,
For they will help guide your way.
Do not risk your life for any girl,
For she will come and go one day.
Your mother's love is pure and true,
A treasure that will always last.
But those who seek your end will fade,
Their love will not ever hold fast.
Remember well the one who bore you,
Who gave you life, and raised you too.
She sacrificed for you each day,
Her love will never fade away.
Do not betray her trust, my friend,
For in her heart your love will find its end.
