To Me
Somebody walking around asked that to me
What does Democracy really mean to me
I couldn't say clearly what it means to me
I grew up in valleys and there it was molested everyday infront of me
I heard it crying loud from the mountains, saying something to me
As a kid it didn't mean anything great to me
Growing up I saw it tortured in front of me
I saw it being shot py pellets infront of me
I saw it being take to jail
I saw coming wounded on bail
I saw it suffering and running like me
You are not life but a part of life to me
Dear Democracy you are like an orphan left alone to me
