To Inspire

I was thinking this morning about spirit and inspiration. I think that they both reside inside, put there in our creation. One meaning of to inspire is to pass one’s spirit from within. It can then be passed on to another and doesn’t have an end. We cannot see the spirit or where the power lies, but it seems to push the buttons that help us realize we all have gifts we’re given; a part we must play. Without our contribution, life may be less so to say. When we’re inspired to do our best, to be the best that we can be, we may come together with others, to build a community. There’s always a cost for progress, together we will see, that compromise and trust are needed for harmony. Ideas can inspire, from either you or from me, and expand through inspiration to an unlimited degree.

Nice to see you posting again, Bill.. This is such a warm and genuine piece it feels like a quiet reminder that inspiration isn’t just some external lightning bolt, but something we all carry within us, just waiting to be shared. I love how you connect inspiration to community and purpose that idea that when we give our best, we help build something bigger than ourselves. It’s hopeful and grounded at the same time. The ending leaves a feeling of endless potential, which is really beautiful.

My apologies, my friend. Haven't checked back on these first ones for a week or so. Thanks for your kind words. I'm just getting back into posting some poetry and reading some too. I'll be checking yours out regularly ... always great poetry. Your poet friend in Texas, Bill
