To Heal a Heart
I'll be here my child, to be your comfort
To warm each tear as they wash over you
And guide your fragile heart from discomfort
Hold you tender in my arms until through
I'll have no duty than to heal your cries
And lead you out of darkness to the light
Caress your weary soul with caring eyes
And lift your spirit from its painful plight
I'll gather you up, be your strongest shield
And protect you from what's frightened within
Love forever free, is never concealed
Guardian of your heart, I won't rescind
These arms a precious sanctuary to find
This heart, a never ending world that's kind
