To Forgive

"To err is human; to forgive, divine" - Alexander Pope


a faux pas
easy enough to understand
deceit and treachery
not so much

backstabbing
shameless betrayal
far beyond comprehension
stirs injury to the core

it is a divine blessing
the best gift to oneself
to find it in one’s heart
to forgive 
to let go
and move on
