To Find Within

*Inspired by photo*

From up above I see
Not what the clouds hide
But delicate blades of grass
Like my fragile emotions
Hanging over the cliff
Waiting to be acknowledged
With a soft touch
Soft as the baby blue skies
Seen in the distance
Transformed into strength
Of emerging mountain peaks
Through the fog of thoughts
That led me to this place
To find the answers
High enough to see for miles
That I climbed to find within

Congratulations, and excellent post, Heidi. I love the flow of the words and the impact of the message. I am very proud of you. The descriptive excellence is lovely and sends terrific images. The theme of "Finding Within," stands out, and the tone moves the piece down the page with much grace. Great job! Have a fantastic day, and God's richest grace and blessings to you always. –Professor, Ambassador, Dr. Joseph S. Spence Sr. (Epulaeryu Master)!

Heidi, I like your cover photo. Snow covered mountain peaks and foothills dotted by trees of Winter. The poem is nice too, elusive allusion. -Richard

Dear Madam, It is indeed a philosophical and thought-provoking poem. A writer remarked like this: "The important thing in poetry isn't whether or not it rhymes, it's whether or not it resonates." I wish to know your view on the above remark. "Manian"
