To Be Still

To push aside the veil of passing years, to tear a heart away from all recall, no martyr more will live within the wall from where the timid gazed; she disappears. To silence stirring echoes of the fears, to teach a heart to run and not to crawl, no loneliness resounding down the hall to whose sad doorways desperate fate adheres. The passion lives in only wrathful flame of incensed tongue; so beg the sweet release of one who needs from she of longing past! So rise the day when free from sorrow's shame; the flight of love, a mind and soul at peace... my fortitude I pray this state outlast.
