To Be Loved By You Again
If I had but one chance more
To talk to you and hold you
I would fill you with those things
I held back out of fear I think
This time I would not be afraid
I would let you speak to my soul
Allow you deep in my heart too
And when I needed to weep
I'd accept your strong shoulder
When my spirit became hungry
I would let you feed me with
Words of wisdom and comfort
You'd surely be invited into the
Inner sanctum of my reality
There to find more love than
Either of us has ever known
If I had but one more chance....
