To Be Kind

My heart fights to be kind. It is what you will find. For it is the way of my mind. Even if you may be unkind, For this makes my soul, unbind. Even if you ever make me unwind, All my words will be placed and lined. However, your mind may be entwined. My secret is to keep my mouth blind. With strong English words inclined. No foul language will ever be mined. For I would rather be so defined, Not looking forward to being maligned, Then be gentle and kind to all humankind.
