To An Elegant Class-Fellow At Ignou
O good spring! Should I credit you
Or this art—
In fact you are, equally benevolent and beauty-full.
She approached me, with a sweet-smile-shy
Like a fragrant flower approached a buzzing bee!
And stood by me, oh as close…!
As after long winter’s snowy separation
Fiery lovers eager to embrace hard.
Wah! We had in a lonely room
On a literary piece, a brief discussion.
And I taught you with my private pen
Writing love verses on your lovely palm.
I known’t your intention!
If you carried any innate will….
But I ponder and wonder—why?
As I had a hurried glance,
Your cheeks had reddened as ripened plum
And, my hands trembled.
