To All the Drivers

To all the drivers on the roads, With empty cars or filled-up loads, I wish you’d stayed in your abodes And left the highways free. For moving at a turtle’s pace, With miles of traffic still to face, Which, lately, seems the normal case, Is simply not for me. So heed my words and stay at home Since, if you feel the need to roam, You’ll join a sea of steel and chrome, An awful place to be.

To me, driving over New York's Tappan Zee Bridge is scary, especially when you see a man shaving in his rear view mirror while driving!! That was "simply not for me" That's for sure :0(

Remind me not to travel there. After years of living in the metropolitan D.C. area I'm so grateful that we don't have those traffic patterns here yet. Enjoyed and hope you recovered from the grid lock.

I was stuck on a Los Angeles freeway. The bus driver called it the worlds longest parking lot. Very clever my friend. Extremely witty. Loved it. Stay well.

Ha, ha, ha! Way to give it to those 'other drivers,' ilene! Let 'em have it right in their ole kissers! ... and btw: How'd you get mixed up in all this?! lol. ~ Still sittin' on the GW Bridge, between two smelly delis (delivery trucks, I think). :) gw
