To a Child of Four

In my room there's a chair It's not much to see It has no special flair I'm sure you'd agree But to a child of four It's no longer a chair But a shiny new car A fleet stallion or mare A gateway to adventure By land or by sea With billowing masthead Or sturdy limbs of a tree

I can see that you have spent some time around four-year-olds, and you remember their antics and their super imaginations also!

Oh yes, imagination can transform the most mundane room into a vista of unlimited adventures - sounds like you made the most of it!

I wish that I had. I wasn't very imaginative; I was inhibited! I laugh when I think of that now... At any rate, I knew other kids who just let their imagination run free. Never could keep up with them. Thanks for the nice comment, Michelle. Take care, Gershon

So true Gershon, brought back memories of my grandsons in the garden, chairs in a line and it became a train, even downloaded train sounds for added effect, woo woo all aboard lol. Tom
