Tit For Tat
Why now must we fight
like we are enemies
when we are supposed to
be in love...
they say two wrongs don't
make a right but you never
let the little things go and
in turn I return every negative
and derogatory thing right
back...it's a crying shame
we must play these childish
games, you hurt me, I hurt
you back just like that,
TIT FOR TAT...
Well but don't you think we
it's about time we should just
forgive and forget and get back
loving each other like we said
we would forever, we can't go on
holding onto grudges that just
promises to tear us apart but I
know I'm just as much to blame
as you are 'cuz you hurt me, I
always have to hurt you back
just like that in a snap, TIT FOR
TAT...
I wish we could get back to the
way we were in the start oh don't
you know it is like a dagger in my
heart but you never give in and I don't
give up, it’s a crying shame we play
these childish games, you hurt me
I hurt you back, an unbroken cycle
over and over again...
TIT FOR TAT, TIT FOR TAT!
