Tiny Lines On Paper
Tiny lines on paper
Dots and swirls
Starts and stops
Yet they can make us laugh
And sometimes cry
They can overwhelm us
And sooth us
We can feel them before we realize
What we are feeling
Before words we had sunsets and rainbows
Twilight and hurricanes
Storms and lightning
To do these feeling dances to our hearts
Now we have lines on paper
Mastered by some
To entice, enrage, educate, or thrill
Feelings popping off a page or out of an I-pad
In the simplest forms of squiggles, dots, and lines.
Creativity conveyed in simple tiny strokes
Sometimes as powerful as a Tsunami
Feeling words.
Loving words.
Sad words.
Words.
