-Time Wasted

So much time wasted
So many years
Consumed with inner turmoil
Cried an ocean of tears

Zero self confidence
Brimmed with inadequacy
Failed before l even began
“Everyone else can do it …..but me!”

l found inner peace
My soul was set free
No more time wasted
Just loving being me!

It's important to be comfortable in your own shoes, Deb. Hold on to that inner peace we find when we know we're the best we can be, despite what anyone says.

Self doubt to self acceptance. Your motto should be:"If someone can do, I can do better."

Dear Deb, What a journey from self-doubt to self-acceptance, filled with honesty and emotion. I loved how the transformation from inner turmoil to inner peace is palpable in your words, inspiring others to embrace their true selves. A great testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of self-love. - Blessings, Daniel

Thank you for reading my sad poem. It is partly true but not personal. You can rhyme, that's good. I cannot though, so I lost many contest attempts.
