Time To Write a New Story
TIME TO WRITE A NEW STORY
Intolerance pervades our times' core hard
Blood is shed free, civilizations clash
Heart splinters into disposable shard
In the grip of stress relationships crash.
Let times change the form before its decline
War-tank becomes piano, gun forms flute
Mercenary turns into violin
They play the symphony of brotherhood.
Let times change face lest it burns in fire
Scorn turns flower, hate a branch of olive
Mind an alchemist making golden wire
They lace garland of love for us to give.
Or let our times go back to the stone age
Start to write the story on a new page.
