Time To Breathe

I'm stressed and need to take the time to relax
Sit down and find a way to put my mind at peace
Depression came back without warning, maybe I was blind to that
So tonight I need to take the time to breathe

My shoulders are heavy, I need to find a way to take the pressure off
I'm going into hibernation to make me better off
I miss her, but I'll find a way to deal with being alone
I already deleted everything to do with her from my phone

Things don't always work out, but depression always makes things seem worse
I fell in love with my nightmares because my dreams hurt
listen to some Classic Hip-Hop and bop my head to it
I'll make it through the storm, I won't end up dead through it

I look out at the Sky and it's a dark one
So I'll Sit down and relax, throw a movie featuring Kevin Hart on
Laugh until my ribs hurt
Pick up a pen and write a quick verse

Let me think of a few rhymes
Just as I think I'm done, my head thinks of new lines
But instead of stressing, I'm starting to see it as a blessing
I just need to take the time to breathe, while I battle my depression

I'm stressed and need to take the time to relax
Sit down and find a way to put my mind at peace
Depression came back without warning, maybe I was blind to that
So tonight I need to take the time to breathe
