watching the warm fire
mesmerized by illumination
flames of reds yellows whites
within this picturesqueness
time stands still

not wanting to leave
dancing embers captivate
snuggled with love
and romanticisms
a hallmark stage breathes

quiet thoughts are clear
embracing such ornaments
that touch eyes and souls
harbored forevermore
still time stands still
