Time Passes
I know not what tomorrow brings
and yesterdays are gone
flown away on timeless wings
I wait for coming dawn
The day will pass and night will fall
a silent darker world
this light and dark entangled sprawl
hold years my life unfurled
My life now passes quicker now
days, nights merge into one
my years have found a grayer brow
beneath the setting sun
