Time Gone Bye
I sit in a corner, long discarded,
In an attic, so no one can see.
All the memories I hold,
from stories long told,
when sat on your grandfathers knee.
so I sit and I wait in this corner,
hope one day your memories will stir,
remembering the stories
your grandfather told,
sat in this old rocking chair.
