Time Gone Bye

I sit in a corner, long discarded, In an attic, so no one can see. All the memories I hold, from stories long told, when sat on your grandfathers knee. so I sit and I wait in this corner, hope one day your memories will stir, remembering the stories your grandfather told, sat in this old rocking chair. 25/4/2023

If only things could talk. Would love to hear their stories. Time does go quickly and I am hearing it being said more frequently now. Enjoyed your poem Simon. Take care. Emilia : )
