Time

Time has wrapped its arms around the universe
   Where distances are measured by the speed of light
  It holds our mortal frames for a short while
    Then releases us to eternity
  Sometimes you will have no time to lose
    Or you may have nothing but time
  History is a journey back in time
    To teach us not to make the same mistakes
  Yet we seemed to have missed the lessons
    Are we speeding to our destruction?
  Or will we change course to avoid disaster....
    Only time will tell

A very wise write, Joseph. We humans seem to learn the most obvious lessons at a snails pace. I do not see a positive change on the horizon, personally.

It's hard to tell if it's time for us to speed up, but most often it's beneficial to slow our pace. Life shouldn't be lived as if we're in a race. I enjoyed your lines, Joseph.
