Time

Time doesn't move back and forth, Time doesn’t halt for the atonement of our faults, Time doesn’t recede in its steps, It’s an untiring traveller. Time doesn’t duplicate itself, It bears only one copy, Time is an unrelenting sculptor, It doesn’t falter in bringing the image viewed, Time doesn’t replay events. What happens to have been seen before, What happens to have occurred earlier, Are only mirages of the mind, They’re only the mind's tricks, They’re the mind's optical illusion. February 23, 2023.

My favorite line in this poem is "It's an untiring traveller" That is not only poetic but very profound. I enjoyed theread, Thampson.
