Time
Time has no beginning and no end
One of the only two things which we can fully depend.
Time isnt timid nor meek
You can't bully a month into becoming a week
Time is steady and remains the same
Time can't be changed for money, love, or fame..
Time ages a body and schools a soul
Time never changes.
So while time touches your hair and streaks it with gray
Nature helps it along it certainly may
And while time brings life and also takes it away
It still never changes and is something we must all face.
You have told be how time has touched your skin colored your hair but I do believe it stops right there.
Time does not shape you into who you have become
That was the choices you made since your time had begun.
It can not bear witness or attest to facts
Your life has done that
Time simply stood by and remained true
For it has no prejudice between me and you..
Destiny bends shifts and breaks
Destiny is molded by the circumstances, conditions and choices you make.
Freewill stands and makes fate behave
It why one year it's fruit and perhaps the next it chocolate you crave.
So with time never changing and destiny shaping fate behaving still allowing a craving, tell me of the journey, the path the choices you made..
Tell me how the hand they dealt you was played.
Tell me of how each naturally colored strand submitted to time
Tell me of you when next you rhyme
