Thunder Crashes

thunder crashes. . . .
near the fireplace I inhale
rain’s scent in your hair

you snuggle
warmly in my arms. . . .
I taste your mouth

As I await loves tender touch. The moon shines up above. It braces me just like a crutch. As I survive the push and shove.

Such romantic visions these offer and so happy to see them in the winner's circle Andrea. Congratulations! I hate it that my eyes won't allow me to read much. The computer glasses I bought are not helping much.

You make thunderstorms sound so romantic in your haiku, Andrea. I'm sure Charles will love it. I probably should just delete my entry. Can't get a handle on what Charles and Deb are seeking. Thanks for your comments on Sparrow on a Ledge. No, it didn't place, but it was based on a lady who lived across the street. Love, Carolyn
