I am the unseen titan of all elements, heard beyond the darkest clouds. I rumble in rhythms of 'heavy metal' rage, sending shock waves across the horizons. I am no deity nor celestial being, I am nature's untouchable primal force. I'll summon the storm, manifesting raw fury, as flashes of lightning join my entourage of fear. Together we echo our wrath, forcing all to seek shelter, as we reign in our aura of climatic majesty.

Spoken like true thunder, the god of thunder although natures roar, rolls as the speed of lightning flashes! Coupled up to frighten fiercely. Worthy story and personification, I really enjoyed this, Silent One. Fave for me.

Very well expresses what thunder is. It is a lot of noise, but poses no threat, just lets us know there is a thread of danger from the lightning. Thanks for sharing this one with us. If for a contest, reads like a good contender to me. Way to go. Sara K

Love the allure. The sure intent and might. You, thunder are most filled with ego. It's a fright with you in it. Love it.

As we revel in the magnificence of your climatic poem's aura, we are reminded with wonder and amazement at the sheer power of nature's untouchable primal force. Making us aware of the intricate dance of the elements that create this beautiful display, a testament to the complexity and beauty of it. From the gentle breeze to the raging storm, every aspect of climate's raw fury from the flashes of lightning wrath to the heavy metal rage. What a powerful entry for the contest. Good luck S1 Hugs

I love a thunderstorm. And the lightening that comes to dance. The loud cracks it emits and the rolling thunder across the sky. Makes me grin every time and watch the sky. And when the squall hits and the rain buckets down I enjoy as the drops bounce off the ground. The sound of it hitting the roof and the clapboards of the house are a comforting sound. The singsongy ring on a metal roof... that's a rare treat to hear. I recommend it though for your ears. Love your poem!

Dear silent one, ah after a long day, reading your poetry definitely is calming, and inspiring. Whoa! I absolutely loved the flow of this and how you’ve depicted thunder in the most profound and powerful manner. How creative are your lines, thunder never looked or did sound beautiful until this, hah. I hate thunderstorms as you know. “ I am no deity nor celestial being, I am nature's untouchable primal force. I'll summon the storm, manifesting raw fury,” exactly how i perceive thunder and why i hate them so much. Youv described them so welll. Titan of all elements, that resemble heavy metal rage so well delivered. Pleasure reading this. Best wishes for the contest, i love this prompt but not sure if i can write as good as this! Youv nailed it silent one’

"I am nature's untouchable primal force." Well said, my friend. Perhaps why my lifelong hobby has been drums. The rhythm, the concussive fury, the raging vibrations -- a heart and blood in primal out of control.

SO, this is an encompassing description of a frightening and powerful natural sound. You describe it so well. Funny, that even though I understand it, it stall scares me when it gets really loud.
