Notes About The Poem

Thru the Lens

What I would give
To see the world
Through the eyes
Of eager curiosity
And playful innocence

With a heart pure
As a summer morn
The future out there
For the writing
An open book
What I would give

Hi Line, Congratulations on your placement with this wonderfully expressed idea of childhood and the future - a good reminder for all of us to stay young at heart. There is great depth of emotion in your economy of words!

Through the lens of innocence... yes, that is what grace does, helps you to become like a little child to God... Your poem is fabulous. I love it. God bless you always, Gina
