Although I like all the season's. I really don't think there is a season that beats the summer when it comes to fun.
As the sunray's beam ~ through my sunroom's shades
And the warmth of summer ~ slowly fades
My old heart soothes ~ when flowers bloom
Fireworks boom ~ in night parades
Songbirds singing ~ in backyard baths
Children playing ~ out bursting laughs
Ocean's beaches ~ morning boat rides
Swimming, fishing ~ floating rafts
Four or "Fore" ~ an eighteen hole
The groundhog's call ~ bless his soul
His tale a myth ~ his truth be told
His course, of course ~ a summer's stroll
Priceless moments ~ in summer's sun
Love it, enjoy it ~ so much fun
Summer season ~ I do adore
My favorite season ~ there be it none
