Through the Darkness Is a Light
We all have cracks in our hearts
And that is alright
We all need these little crevices
To allow light inside
For if you're never broken
You'll never fully understand
Compassion and empathy
You'll forever stay blind
To have your heart broken
It humbles your soul
It reaches into places
Even you've never known
You learn appreciation
For those who choose to stay
In spite of all of your flaws
They love you anyways
So embrace all of your imperfections
Treat them each as a new journey to take
For out of bad things that can happen
Shines the light to show you the way
