I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness— the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.
Colossians 1:25?-?29 NIV
Through Christ there should
Not be division from Jew , Gentile,
Male, female, any human being.
That seeks the understanding
Not manifested from mankind knowledge
There is none better than another in Christ
For we all have to be reborn of the spirit
Not done in own works
But through Christ be the glory
Some die more to this world
To receive more internal riches
Newfound love and abundance of joy
To begin to gain understanding
Not taught by worldly views.
But many puffed up with pride of own works
Out for personal gain says different.
As in the beginning they still roam
Around out to destroy, steal,kill
And deceiving for own gain
The mystery of the word of God
Through Christ is to create within
A new creation by the promised living spirit
Which seeks to please God
Buried the old self from transformation
For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:3?-?4 NIV
One can not comprehend the world
Deception until revealed through Christ
The awakening of the unseen forces at work
To see the division is within us
Circumcision by the spirit
Not to focus on color, race are religion.
Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
Colossians 3:11?-?16 NIV
